When Irish eyes are smiling, sure it's like a morn in spring,
In the lilt of Irish laughter, you can hear the angels sing.
When Irish hearts are happy, all the world seems bright and gay!
And when Irish eyes are smiling, sure they'll steal your heart away!
I'm sorry, I keep trying and re-trying, but I can't get it to publish the picture upright. But it's too cute to leave out. Sarah is sooo photgenic it's not fair. I hope she stays that way - it could just be that she's five.
She was given this dress in hand-me-downs several months ago, but it was missing two buttons from the back so she couldn't wear it. This is actually the first time she's worn it, I believe it falls under the status of "second favorite dress ever!" She's slightly excited about it! Though she wasn't overjoyed about taking the sweater off outside for a few pictures. Poor child, she nearly froze to death! (Please note the sarcasm in that statement - it is about two degrees above freezing out there and she was only sleeveless for under two minutes.)
The pictures cannot capture how truly Irish her hazel eyes are. They'd steal anyone's heart!
And Irish blessing to end your St. Patrick's Day:
May those that love you,
Love you.
And those that don't love you,
May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May He turn their heels,
So you may know them by their limping!
God bless you,
Laurel
